A Little Elf in my Stomach

A little elf in my stomach is my favorite
It is a hard worker and keeps the stomach lit
That high-tech elf with modern technology
Knows physiology, chemistry and biology
It has a remote station in my brain
Never let any emotions go in vain
Elf’s favorite signal is boredom
Bangs the stomach wall in random
Stress drives it nuts with fury
Bangs harder not fearing jury
Connects to eyes with internet of things
Monitors everything whether zap or zings
Scans the area scouting for food
Hungry or not food is always good
Looks can be deceptive taste elusive
Nonetheless, it is never defensive
Chhole, Noodles, Pav Bhaji, Soup
Milk Shake, Ice cream never dupe
In the stomach, it has a castle
For a crowd, it will rastle
Its understudy guards the nose
Welcomes all spices with a rose
Alerts the elf of every smell
If edible, the elf doesn’t quell
Teeth, tongue, mouth, hand
Slave they are of its demand
The little elf in my stomach is my favorite
It is my friend and not a parasite
Keeps my delight but never contrite
My elf is an erudite with appetite
